DESCRIPTION:NextETRUCK partners from CENEX UK will present the KITE tool at the CENEX Expo. The two-day event will take place on 3-4 September 2025 at the premises of the UTAC proving ground in  Millbrook\, UK. The annual event follows the successful 2024 edition that was visited by around 4500 attendees and more than 200 speakers. \n			\n				Register now\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				What is the KITE tool?   \nThe tool\, which was developed by NextETRUCK partners from CENEX UK\, is a fleet carbonisation strategy tool. This decision-support platform is designed to help fleet operators transition to electric trucks. It enables users to compare diesel and electric options using total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis and environmental impact modelling. By inputting fleet-specific operational data\, the tool provides tailored insights into vehicle performance\, energy use\, and cost implications\, helping logistics companies make informed\, data-driven choices about electrification.  \nIn addition to cost and emissions analysis\, the tool offers guidance on smart charging infrastructure\, including depot charging configurations and route-based charging needs. It integrates digital fleet management features to support optimised scheduling\, energy planning\, and operational efficiency. SUMMARY:Joint HoLA & MACBETH megawatt charging symposium in Berlin
DESCRIPTION:The two zero-emission HGV research projects of HoLa and MACBETH are organising a joint symposium on truck megawatt charging\, which will take place from 30 September until 1 October 2025 in Berlin\, DE. Several AEVETO cluster projects and NextETRUCK partner CENEX NL will attend the event and discuss the challenges and opportunities of fast-charging technologies.   \n			\n				REGISTER\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				What are the aims of both projects?   \nHoLa:   \nHoLa will install and operate two Megawatt Charging System (MCS) points and multiple CCS charging points for electric lorries at five sites along the A2 between Berlin and the Ruhr region. It begins with two CCS chargers at each location\, three near motorways and two at logistics hubs\, to support early electric lorry integration and test fast-charging. By the end\, there will be ten CCS and eight MCS chargers\, with four manufacturers providing twelve vehicles. Linked to the annual EV experience\, the largest event of its kind in the Netherlands\, a gathering that is designed to encourage and strengthen business connections\, while allowing a wider audience to test a variety of more than 100 electric vehicles of various price points. \nWhy is NextETRUCK attending this event?\nVarious conferences focus on the target audience of OEMs\, while discussing topics related to the electrification of heavy-duty vehicles or alternative freight solutions\, but the E-Truck Experience will provide a more hands-on approach to networking between OEMs\, freight companies and fleet managers. \nWhat is NextETRUCK presenting?\nManaging fleets of electric heavy-duty vehicles is a challenging task\, with added complexities such as charging needs\, battery degradation\, driving and resting times\, total cost of ownership assessments\, and long-term investment strategies\, among others. \nTo address many of these challenges\, NextETRUCK introduces the KITE tool\, developed by CENEX NL\, which will be showcased to a broader audience during a dedicated presentation.
