SUMMARY:ChargeUp Europe webinar: accelerate HDV electrification
DESCRIPTION:By the end of the decade\, electric heavy-duty vehicles (eHDVs) will represent an increasing share of the overall HDV fleet in Europe. The HDV segment will be electrified in stages – starting from urban areas deliveries and depot charging\, and gradually moving into long-haul trucking\, with charging available on the way. \n\n\n\nAs this picture comes into focus\, the EV charging industry is fully accompanying the electrification of the HDV segment. The transformation could be accelerated by ensuring available space for infrastructure deployment\, providing sufficient power supply and incentivizing with purchase subsidies. \n\n\n\nThis discussion between policy makers and industry will delve into how the collaboration between different actors and how the symbiosis between AFIR and CO2 standards can ensure the success of this transformation\, allowing the EU to move forward with confidence and ambition on CO2 emissions standards for HDVs. \n\n\n\n\nRegister Now
