SUMMARY:NextETRUCK joins e-truck event at Zandvoort
DESCRIPTION:NextETRUCK will participate in the e-truck experience day on 2 October at the Zandvoort Circuit (NL) to share project updates and NextETRUCK tools with a wider audience of OEMs\, freight businesses and fleet managers. You can register for the business event here.  \nThe business-to-business event will take place at the iconic Zandvoort Circuit\, a racetrack nestled in the Dutch dunes and typically home to Formula 1 and GT4 races. Linked to the annual EV experience\, the largest event of its kind in the Netherlands\, a gathering that is designed to encourage and strengthen business connections\, while allowing a wider audience to test a variety of more than 100 electric vehicles of various price points. \nWhy is NextETRUCK attending this event?\nVarious conferences focus on the target audience of OEMs\, while discussing topics related to the electrification of heavy-duty vehicles or alternative freight solutions\, but the E-Truck Experience will provide a more hands-on approach to networking between OEMs\, freight companies and fleet managers. \nWhat is NextETRUCK presenting?\nManaging fleets of electric heavy-duty vehicles is a challenging task\, with added complexities such as charging needs\, battery degradation\, driving and resting times\, total cost of ownership assessments\, and long-term investment strategies\, among others. \nTo address many of these challenges\, NextETRUCK introduces the KITE tool\, developed by CENEX NL\, which will be showcased to a broader audience during a dedicated presentation. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with CENEX NL and POLIS Network representatives at the project’s stand. \nUltimately\, NextETRUCK and its partners aim to reach and engage new stakeholder groups.
