IRU-POLIS Webinar #1 – Let’s discuss the future of zero-emission freight!

This series of three panel discussions provides a forum for cities, regions, and the European freight industry to identify what is needed to maintain efficient goods transport in (peri-)urban areas and across long distances while creating a high living standard in Europe. The second webinar in this series will take place on 12 March 2024 from 15:00 to 16:30 and will focus on zero-emission logistics in a (peri-)urban environment. The third webinar highlight current challenges and solutions concerning energy infrastructure will be broadcasted on 16 April 2024 at the same time.

IRU and POLIS will highlight different aspects of zero-emission logistics. Exchanges between industry leaders, cities and innovative EU-funded projects will share zero-emission freight solutions and information on the full spectrum of road freight transport. The webinar series will also provide an opportunity for EU-funded projects to present preliminary results, based on real-world piloting of physical and digital equipment for heavy-duty vehicles.
